Auto shows around the world are events where car junkies and casual fans alike can come and enjoy the latest and greatest vehicles and technologies from their favorite car manufacturers, as well as others they may have never heard of. These are the places where brands come to show off the future of their lineup, and at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, we can expect to see a plethora of new and exciting vehicles ready to capture the hearts and minds of onlookers. For Lexus, its next concept could be a showstopper, if its teaser image is any inkling into its future.
This image from Lexus shows a sporty, exciting new concept just ready to break out of its shell. Slanted, aggressive LED headlamps and accent lights will make your heart skip a beat, just daring you to attack the road and slice up the pavement. The concept car, which could be the latest iteration of the previously leaked RC coupe, will be a part of this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, according to an article on Motor Trend. Parent company Toyota will also debut its Toyota Yaris Hybrid-R Concept, making these two a few of the more anticipated vehicles at the show.
With all of the advancements in recent Lexus vehicles, including the all-new 2014 Lexus IS sedan, the brand is trying to regain the attention of the American public, as it has seen BMW and Mercedes-Benz do with the luxury market in the U.S. If a few more concept and production vehicles like the one you can see at the Frankfurt Motor Show appear in the lineup, they might just do exactly that.
