Lexus is one of the more popular luxury nameplates throughout the world, and as a member of the Toyota family of vehicles, it makes perfect sense. However, as fantastic as each and every new Lexus is, there is something to be said for coming up with fresh designs, innovations, and advancements in the luxury automotive industry. Luckily for Lexus fans, that is exactly what we are about to see over the next few years.
The future for Lexus and its vehicles is a bright one, and it has already begun with the redesigned 2014 IS sedan. According to Automotive News, the brand will make its biggest change to the engine, adding a 2.0L turbocharged engine to some of its vehicles.
The lineup of vehicles from the luxury automaker will also expand, starting with an all-new car, the RC 350. The RC 350 will be out within the next year and is based on the popular LF-CC concept that debuted at the 2012 Paris Auto Show. The company will also add the LF-LC coupe in 2015, another concept that was brought to light at the 2012 Detroit Motor Show. Lastly, Lexus will bring a small crossover to the fray in 2014 to compete with the success of the Audi Q3 and the BMW X1.
Fans will be happy to know this new lineup is just a sampling of the many future models Lexus has in the works. Which one will be your next Lexus?
