Ultimate Fishing Tundra

What do you get when you turn a professional fisherman loose on a Toyota Tundra truck? Well, we’re about to find out.

Bassmaster Elite Series pro angler Britt Myers is getting his chance to do just that … modify his very own Tundra to his dream specifications.

Myers owns the North Carolina-based CS Motorsports team, so it’s simple for him to take over one of his own garages to create his “Ultimate Fishing Tundra.” He has asked for modification ideas from other Pro Anglers—including Kevin VanDam, Terry “Big Show” Scroggins, Mike Iaconelli, and Gerald “G-Man” Swindle—to create the best fishing rig made for the road.

One of the additions Myers plans to include on this Tundra Angler dreamboat (uh, I mean truck) will be “a bed area tackle storage system that looks like a Bass Pro Shop aisle.” He also wants to include the essential tackle, reels, rods, and even a refrigerator. And he surely must be counting on hauling in some big catches (or maybe the Loch Ness Monster) since he’s adding a TRD Big Brake Kit, 12-inch suspension lift, specially-designed grille, TRD supercharger and exhaust system.

You can see the “Ultimate Fishing Tundra” on display at the Toyota booth at the 2012 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) in Las Vegas on October 30. While you’re there, be sure to catch the heavily publicized “Toyota Racing Dream Build Challenge” too. In this challenge, four racing celebrities are modifying their favorite Toyota for charity. Myers, on the other hand, chose to customize his Toyota just for the pleasure of it.

Myers is confident that the styling of his Tundra will inspire fishermen all over the U.S. to dream big and fish even bigger.
