Use Vehix.com to Find Good Used Car Values

Media giant Comcast acquired Vehix.com in 2008 and it shows. Vehix.com is possibly the most sophisticated of the vehicle classified posting sites. Its sophistication makes it a great resource to find good new and used car values. It is also an interesting site to navigate due to the extensive use of videos, sharp graphics, and timely reviews of the newest models.

Vehix.com lists a predominant number of new or late model vehicles. Vehix.com’s media relationships provide access to new car dealers who are anxious to show their cars in the best possible light. The website offers best-in-class research tools with the latest news and specs on the cars. These resources have made it one of the “most trafficked automotive resource websites on the Internet.”

A recent Vehix.com search in my area for a 2006 Chevrolet Impala yielded only 4 vehicle results. A similar search on other sites found 20-30 vehicles with the same specifications. However, Vehix.com already lists 2012 pricing and specs for 23 separate new car brands. Vehix.com also has a section devoted to “Green” cars for environmentally friendly buyers. It includes articles that explain the newest hybrid and electric vehicles, how they work, and previews by model.

To attract more private sellers, Vehix.com offers to post private seller listings for free. Private sellers can post one photo and run the copy for 30 days at no charge. For $29.99, private sellers can upgrade to the Premium package. The premium package includes 27 photos and runs for 90 days. Buyers looking for a good used car value can find some excellent vehicles posted by legitimate private sellers on Vehix.com. However, the selection of new and used cars is limited.

Various financing options are available on Vehix.com under the “Finance” tab. Purchasing versus leasing is compared and a finance calculator is provided to estimate monthly costs. Options for insurance coverage are also listed.

Vehix.com is not loaded down with advertising and cumbersome links to other websites. Unless you are redirected to a car dealer’s website, most of the information is self-contained. Vehix.com provides the resources to make finding a good new or used car value a straightforward and easy process.
